CRiSPY CORn ReCIPe
Serves: 4 | Prep: 10 mins | cook time: 15 mins
Ingredients
2 Cup Del Monte Sweet Corn
¼ Cup + 2 tbsp Corn Flour
2 tbsp Flour
1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
Oil to deep-fry
Other Ingredients
2 tbsp Cooking Oil
1 tbsp Garlic, chopped
1 tbsp Ginger, chopped
1 Onion, chopped
1 tsp Red Chili Flakes
Salt to taste
½ tsp Black Pepper Powder to taste
1 tbsp Fresh Coriander, chopped
1 tbsp Spring Onion Greens, chopped
Here’s all you need to do:
- Boil approximately 6 cups of water in a saucepan.
- Add Del Monte Sweet Corn and cook for 5 minutes or till bit soft. Transfer to a metal colander. Drain all the water. Allow Del Monte Sweet Corn to get dry & cool down a bit.
- In a mixing bowl, combine boiled corn, flour, ¼ cup corn flour, salt, & pepper. Mix using your fingers.
- While mixing, gently squeeze corn kernels to remove excess liquid.
- Add remaining 2 tablespoons of corn flour and mix once again to coat corn kernels with flour. Keep in the fridge while the oil is preheated.
