In 1886, Del Monte Coffee premiered as a premium blend of coffee packaged exclusively for the prestigious Hotel Del Monte in Monterey, California.

In 1968, Del Monte Corporation acquires the West Indies Tropical Fruit Company of Coral Gables, Florida.

In 2011, MAG® Melons were developed to meet demand for a melon delivering consistent quality, flavor and aroma. The MAG® Melon has a more pleasant and concentrated aroma compared to traditional cantaloupes, and has a sweet flavor and juicy texture.

hOneYGLOw PIneAPPLe

In 2018, we developed the Honeyglow® pineapple, allowing it to mature naturally on the plant for a few precious extra days. We then hand select each one to ensure a high shell color, delighting people who associate ripe, premium pineapples with a bright, golden shell.

2020 jeweL Of the junGLe

After 16 years in the making, we launched our Pinkglow® pineapple in 2020. This Jewel of the Jungle® is produced in ultra-limited harvests, uniquely and specially grown by our expert growers and is found to be both juicier and sweeter than a traditional pineapple. With a delicious and completely unique taste, this pineapple boasts notes of candy aromatics and is sure to delight consumers of all ages.

2021 meLOn mADe PeRFeCt

In 2021, we relaunched our MAG.nificient® Melon. The MAG.nificient® Melon provides consumers with consistency and takes the guesswork out of purchasing cantaloupes. Each melon meets the highest standards for appearance, flavor, texture and aroma.

2021 mORe Sweet SuRPRISeS

In 2021, we expanded our Honeyglow® brand to include Honeyglow® melons. Hand selected to ensure top quality and the sweetest taste, these melons have a consistent summer-time cantaloupe aroma and a sweet flavor.
