Description
The Main Purpose of the role:
- To ensure all work done in the facility follows health and safety standards
- To ensure hygiene of employees and sanitation of the plant
The main areas of responsibility:
- Inspecting and reporting any non-conformity or incidents/accidents to the QA & HSE Manager
- Inspecting and reporting personnel hygiene of production workers, cleanliness of the production lines (CIP), assuring environmental monitoring status and optimal hygiene in the facility.
- Inspection and reporting any non-conformity in the workers accommodation
- Health and Safety orientation to new employees
- Updating the department with the local and international standards relating to Health and Safety
- Assigning duties and responsibilities to the HSE sanitation team
- Inspecting and reporting cleanliness of the facility and ensuring that the sanitation workers are doing their job
- Waste management monitoring, which includes the hauling of fruit waste and organizing trash trips by supplier
- Monitoring the issuing of chemicals to the production and ensuring that proper dilution are being met during processing
